Chris
Salisbury: Director
and WildWise senior instructor
Chris founded WildWise after many years working as an education
officer for Devon Wildlife Trust. With a background in
the theatre, a training in therapy and a career in environmental
education he uses every creative means at his disposal
to encourage people to enjoy and value the natural world. He
has worked with Ray Mears and John Rhyder, amongst many
others. Chris is also trained as a Be
the Change facilitator and offers symposiums
for interested groups wanting to find their next steps forward in creating a
fairer, more sustainbable world. |

Jo McGain: Events
and courses co-ordinator
Jo manages the WildWise office and is the friendly voice on the end of the phone.
In following her deep love of nature, Jo has spent much of her
life exploring wild places, and spends as much time as she can in the outdoors. |

Chris
Holland: WildWise
instructor
Chris is an author, bushcraft and nature awareness teacher,
didgeridoo player, environmental artist, outdoor play trainer and storyteller.
He has been teaching, instructing and mentoring in and out of schools for more
than ten years. His distinctive, pragmatic style of teaching exudes a creative
flair enjoyed by all. |

Martin
Prothero: WildWise
instructor
Martin’s professional background as an artist requires
him to spend considerable time outdoors interpreting the
tracks, signs and language of animals. His artist residencies
and projects have gained him a nationwide reputation as
a skilled outdoorsman and a passionate advocate for the
natural world. |

Sebastian
Kelly: WildWise instructor
Sebastian’s profound affinity with the wild
began in his childhood home of the Lake District. Formerly an education
ranger with Exmoor National Park, he has
worked on the staff of the ecological studies centre Schumacher
College. Sebastian was founder-director of the eco-performance
company Restless Natives, and has worked as a conservation warden,
walks guide writer, freelance environmental educator, and theatre-in-education
practitioner. |

Del Saunders: Camp
Warden
With a long career in the Royal Marines, Del offers a wealth of
experience and practical knowledge to events in the field. |

Associates to WildWise |
Alan Dyer:
Senior Lecturer in Environmental and Scientific Studies,
Coordinator of environmental education at the University
of Plymouth and is currently developing the new Centre
for Sustainibility. This work has taken him to many parts
of the world working with many diverse groups. He is also
a director of 'Education Earthwise', a charity established
to promote and network good practice in environmental
education.
Jon Cree:
Training coordinator at the Bishopswood Environmental
Education Centre. Jon has worked for over 20 years now
with pupils, teachers, local education authorities and
other organisations working with schools on environmental
matters. He is also a Trainer for the Institute of Earth
Education.
