There are many ways in which to know the
plants that grow around us. In this day course, we will
look at:
Plant Identification - learning to notice family resemblances
Plant Uses - ways plants can satisfy our basic needs
Plants as Allies - slowing down enough to learn their qualities
through plant spirit journeying.

Trainer – Frank Cook, BSc
A Medical Herbalist, Frank has been studying the uses and qualities
of plants over the last fifteen years. He has run courses
internationally during his extensive travels, working with
Shamans, Sangomas and Medicine Men around the world. He taught
at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism in the USA
for six years, and amongst his other projects is finishing
an MSc in Holistic Science at Schumacher College.
Frank is briefly in Devon in 2008, and we are fortunate to
have him contribute to the WildWise programme to share his
depth of knowledge and experience with us.
