The Moor Tracking day is a chance to focus
on the art of tracking in more details and learn some advanced
skills. Together we will spend some quality time immersed in
the wild wood habitat. Looking at the world from the point
of view of the animal you are tracking, we will explore the
language of tracking, track aging, pressure releases and other
subtle signs.
Based in a beautiful woodland on Dartmoor at this wonderful
time of year, immerse yourself in the dappled light and hunt
for signs of our fellow wild creatures.
There will be plenty of time to walk and test your new found
skills as well as meet and discuss your findings with like-minded
people.
Location: This event will take place at a
beautiful wild woodland site near Bovey Tracey, on the edge
of Dartmoor in Devon.
Times: 10am - 4pm
