Events & Courses :: Wild Night Out!
June 7
Cost: £60 Adults/Kids come free!

It is dusk. You have been following a trail through breathtaking woodland in the depths of the Devonshire countryside. As you were guided along, new smells, sounds, sights and textures brought your senses to the point of bursting.

The magical stillness among the trees has transported you far beyond the busyness of the world you left behind. Now you pause and rest, almost instinctively. The unmistakable aroma of campfire cooking drifts past, you can see a wisp of smoke above the trees, revealing the location of what you intuitively realise is your home for the night...

Now the scene is set for a night of truly unforgettable experiences designed to educate and inspire you, drawing you closer to the heart of Devon’s wild country.

You have just begun a Wild Night Out...!

In the course of the next 20 hours you may find yourself tuning in to the chatter of bats feeding, or listening to the haunting call of a late night predator. You could be sampling a heady cocktail of woodland smells or feasting your eyes on the mesmerising patterns found in nature.

Before bedding down for a night under canvas, imagine yourself gazing up at the stars or soaking up the magic of stories by firelight. These are just some of the experiences that make a Wild Night Out a night to remember.

For the duration of the overnight camp, you will be accompanied by an expert Wildlife Guide, who, with the help of a trained team, will make your time with us both wild and comfortable.

The delicious meals are cooked for you over an open fire. Wherever possible we use local and organic produce maintaining our commitment to local sustainability.

All food is provided - just bring your tent*, sleeping bag and torch!
* 2-3 person tents are available for hire at £5/tent if you don’t have your own.

Our guides have a wide repertoire of skills and the Wild Night Out activities can be varied and adapted to suit any age or interest group. We regularly run private events throughout the season so if you already know of a group of friends, relations or colleagues (from 12 to 25 people) who would like to try a Wild Night Out then contact WildWise to let us know your requirements.

Cost £60 Adult/kids come free!
The cost includes food, campsite facilities, equipment and instruction.
NB. Event starts at 4pm, and finishes the next day at 11am.
